With that being said....
I am 46 years old, live in a small town in south Carolina, on a small farm. I am very happily married and have 2 sons, but always a house full of boys as our house is the hang out for them all. I enjoy and love having kids around (most of the time, lol) I am retired for 4 years now, after an accident left me unable to work. I do still enjoy our farm, we raise most all of our own meat's, vegetables, and soon fruits I hope. We also raise dairy goats for our milk and cheese needs.
I enjoy pen paling, prefer the old fashion pen to paper, seems more personal, and I feel its becoming a lost art. And lets face it, who doesn't want to see a friendly letter in their mail, verse's always seeing bill's and junk mail. I enjoy sewing, cooking, baking, crochet, crafting of many kinds, wood working, and I love to read, always have a book in my purse or close by for any spare moment of reading. I like mysteries, crime novels, some history, most anything with a good story line.
I admit the farm, kids, and just day to day life keeps me pretty busy, so it's often hard to find time for spending with people to make friends, so pen paling works great for me. I can write letters while I wait for an appointment, or late at night when my family is sleeping and I'm waiting on that last load of laundry.... lol It doesn't matter if you are from far off across the ocean, or just up the road from me, I enjoy knowing people. I do try to write back within a few days of getting a letter, but I'm a realist, life sometimes gets in the way, and we can't always write right back. It's ok, but I do prefer pen pals that enjoy writing on the regular bases, and enjoy a variety of topics. If you are interested in writing, please drop me a letter
