About Me
I?ve been married for five years and my husband and I just recently had a baby boy
in February.
I have been an ethical vegan for 8 years and am anti-speciesist and pro social
justice. I am also a feminist, an atheist, and an intactivist. I consider myself a
realist, and value critical thinking.
I hold a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in psychology, sociology, and
diversity studies. I?d like to pursue social work someday but right now I am a stay at
home mom. My parenting style is gentle; I practice attachment parenting. I am
passionate about breastfeeding and cloth diapering, and am teaching my son baby
sign language and am planning to homeschool. I am anti corporal punishment.
I enjoy the local arts (symphonies, operas, plays, museums, etc.), cooking and
baking, exploring the outdoors (camping and hiking), reading, and having
conversations. I love learning and education, and am passionate about natural
living, health, and fitness (although I haven't been too active since I gave birth).
