When it comes to letter writing, I am old-fashioned and like it that way. I like receiving long, chatty snail mail letters and look for a few lasting friends who love to share their lives with me. I like to hear from you more often then once or twice a year, because I find it difficult to built a friendship with someone I hardly know. My hobbies are reading and writing letters, I collect stamps and bookmarks, I enjoy using nice stationary and pens, or make my own stationary. I love my cats and would get a little zoo if I had the space and time. I work full time, but still find time for my hobbies and friends. I prefer hand-written letters, as I have gotten too many form letters in my life ... it's just not the same and I hate it when I am one amongst a million. I have been penpalling since over 20 years and still have one of my oldes pals around (from 1986). Once I am a friend, I am very true and you'll never get rid of me. Of course there are some countries where I really would love to have a pen pal, but it really does not matter as long as you are interested in a longterm friendship.
