Friendship is what I am looking for and anyone is welcome, anyone should be given a chance to have friends from abroad, or from any country. It is amazing when you connect to other people who may/might have a lot in common, and even if you haven't anything in common, you can always learn how to connect with whoever you are having such friendship with , as people learn and adapt to whatever life throws at them.
As I said above, I am from Portugal, but, I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2000, so, I was 19 when I came to UK. Back in 2000, things here were very different but, with time, people begin to accept others from other countries. I also lived in Iceland for a few months back in 2007, working as a warehouse operative and I truly liked the experience, nevertheless, I just had to come back to UK.
Apart from work, I enjoy reading all kinds of books about History, Anthropology, you know, the heavy stuff that some people might not like, I also enjoy writing, well, that is the best way to express oneself, I also like to learn languages, and languages do connect us to the world, by breaking the boundaries of communication. I can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, I am not so fluent with French, even though, it is a related language to Portuguese.
