Snail mail is a special hobby. No matter if the letters are typed or hand written, two pages long or ten pages long, white paper or colorful paper, printed stamps or decorative stamps.. Snail mail connects people in a way their email inboxes or facebook pages cant. I dont want to make men friends and Im not willing to write to inmates/prisoners. I wont answer form letters, letters that I cant read, or anything that makes me uncomfortable. I type my letters because of problems with my wrist/hand (NO form letters). I usually respond within the week however I cant always mail the responces out right away and sometimes need a few weeks (due the fact Im on a low fixed income and the amount I can spend on postage varies from month to month). I love letters that are filled with everyday things. I dont get bored with weather talk, book jabber, or talk about pets, kids, or families. I wont get mad if you rant and rave when you have a problem and your free to share any thoughts or dreams with me. I wont share your address with anyone else (unless of course you give me express consent) and I expect you to do the same. I wont share anything you tell me or blast your secrets on facebook (again I expect the same from you). Just so you know if I dont hear from you in 3 or more months I will assume you have lost interest in our friendship and toss your address (and yes a email or post on my facebook wall do count). I guess thats all. If youd like to be snail mail friends introduce yourself vie email and lets go from there. Please note that with postage prices rising in Jan 2012 I will probably be a bit picky about who I say yes to for snail mail friendship but I do welcome facebook friends, email friends, and yahoo chat buddies as well. Oh, I almost forgot the most important information about myself - Im married, mom to one, 25 years old, have lots of pets, and am from West Virginia.
